How we decide what to publish, how we label it, and what we do when we get something wrong. These rules already govern the site — several are enforced automatically before anything can go live — and this page will set them out in full.
What will be here
- How reporting, analysis, and opinion are labelled and kept apart
- Our sourcing rule: factual claims must cite a verified primary source
- How we handle stories naming an identifiable person, including right of response
- What we will not publish, including anything identifying a student
- How corrections are made, and why nothing is ever quietly deleted
